Typical three days safari to Uganda

Day 1

You arrive, transfer to the Mountain Gorilla View Lodge in the Volcanoes Mountain Park. This will take three hours travelling to the North of Rwanda to Kinigi through Ruhengere town, a very interesting and scenic drive. Depending on your arrival time you may take in the city (a must) visiting Gisozi memorial site, Kaplaki Crafts shop, Inema art centre, and Presidential palace museum.

Day 2

At 6:30am after breakfast we drive to the park headquarters for briefing on how you will behave in front of mountain gorillas in the mist. Tracking may take 3-5 hours but can be longer although exceptional. Stay in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of one hour before returning back to your Lodge for lunch, dinner and an overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge F/B.

Day 3

Depending on you flight time, after breakfast you may decide before catching your flight, to either complete the activities that you missed on day 1 on the Kigali city tour or as usual to enjoy the tour in one hit rather than squeeze it in on day 1.
