We begin in Samburu and Buffalo Hills National Reserves, where large elephant herds gather along the life giving Ewaso Ngiro River and leopards lounge on sun-drenched tree trunks, seemingly frozen in time. You will be sure to spot the unique northern species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and gerenuk, and a wide variety of bird species.

We head south into the Rift Valley, where Lake Nakuru National Park offers reliable black and white rhino sightings and leopards with classic acacia woodland backdrops; while Lake Naivasha gives you the chance to photograph African Fish Eagles at close range as they swoop dramatically to catch their prey.

We finish in our intimate camp in Masai Mara, home to exceptional big cats on open plains with clean backgrounds, dramatic river crossings, and action-packed safaris that are the highlight of the whole journey. We spend the days in the bush, our evenings relaxed around the fire before dinner with our renowned samosas and cold drinks; and our nights listening to animal sounds in the deep of the night.
