Safaris in Kenya

Many safaris in Kenya are run to a strict time table built around trips back and forth to a hotel or accommodation complex, being back in time for meals and setting off according to pre-ordained routine. This isn't what I believe a true safari experience should be and that's why the safaris I've created are not run in this way. Etymologically speaking the original word "safari" means "journey"; this is how I would describe the safaris I run ... it's certainly how I would prefer my guests to view them by the end of their time with me.I am extremely grateful to my previous guests for their kind comments having been on one of my Kenya safaris. To get an idea of what some of them thought head over to the Testimonials section.
Safaris in Kenya, or 'journeys' in Kenya, should not be bound by rules or schedule. A journey is not discrete, it does not encapsulate a sense of beginning or end. By this definition a safari should be a learning experience, a place in which to evolve, the broadening of horizons. Each safari I embark on is different because this is the view I take. I leave my mind open to discovery and allow my companions to mould the day's proceedings around their desires and around the wild game we encounter. I don't see any point in sticking rigidly to planned safaris in Kenya when nature itself knows of no such thing. It is all the more magical when we do find game, because the unpredictable nature of the wild means that we never make assumptions about what we expect to see that day.
Having literally been brought up in the bush I am experienced and knowledgeable enough to know where the best places are to spot all kinds of wildlife, from game to wild birds. If you're a wildlife photographer then my safaris are perfect for you. Take a look at some of photographs taken by my previous visitors in the Photo Gallery for an idea of the animals and birds we've discovered in the past, and the positions we are able to adopt in observing their behaviour. If you are interested in coming along on one of my Kenya safaris please take a look at the Booking page for availability and don't hesitate to contact us with any queries.
