Big Cat Safaris
Friday, February 6, 2009
There is such a huge range of wildlife to be found within the rolling grasslands and valleys of Kenya that it would be a shame to limit a safari to seeking out one particular species. That being said, we do understand that some animals generate more excitement than others - there is a mythical aura surrounding certain beasts, the magic of which can only be truly experienced when in their presence. Big cats are usually high on the wish-lists of animals to see on our safaris. At Freeman Safaris we are happy to accommodate our guests desires. We are here as guides: it is our aim to enable you to help create your own unique safari experience. We have created an itinerary for our safaris but our philosophy is one which makes the most of the opportunities which arise on each day. If we have a particular group of photographers or guests whose main desire is to see the big cats in their natural habitat - whether it be on the hunt, feeding their young, or simply basking in the heat of the day - then it is possible for us to tailor the safaris around this desire.
If you would like more information on the philosophy behind the safaris run by us here at Freeman Safaris, then please take a look around the rest of the website. You will notice from reading around that we run our safaris with tradition in mind. Whether you prefer big cat safaris or a wildlife photography safari, all the safaris we run are based on a achieving a true safari experience, using old-fashioned safari methodology. We do not waste time going backwards and forwards from a hotel and limiting the amount of time out in the wild by running to a tight schedule. Our safaris start before daybreak and end after dark whereupon we return to a camp and campfire to discuss the days' adventures.
If you are interesting in big cat safaris please don't hesitate to contact us and see how we can help you have the experience of a lifetime!
