Welcome to the blog pages of Freeman Safaris. For those regular visitors to this website you will already be aware of the Newsletter page which we update with stories of our trips and news from the African wild. The blog pages will discuss the services we provide and hopefully provide more information for anyone interested in going on a Kenyan safari holiday.Besides the Newsletter page I have included as much detail about the way I organise the safari holidays and what you can expect when you choose to travel with me. There are pages dedicated to My Safaris, which provide background details on my philosophy as to what a real safari holiday in Kenya should be about; getting close to and being able to observe the birds and animals which inhabit the beautiful African landscape. I believe that a true safari is made up of a combination of bush travel, living in and experiencing nature and the wild at first hand, during both the day and the night. It's an old school philosophy, but one which I believe creates a greater opportunity for broader experience and it is summed up accurately by our slogan "Yesterday's Safaris Today".
Throughout our website you can also read up on a typical day in camp, whether it be the Masai Mara Camp, or the Samburu Camp, a day following the migration activity or a day spent by the river watching the animals who visit the water. I have also included a description of the set up with regards to living quarters and the conditions we provide on our Kenya safari holidays. Although I believe in providing a safari experience such as those embarked upon decades ago I am able to provide the best of both worlds as we have designed all modern camping equipment for total comfort yet which still allows us to blend with the natural environment around us.
